Kate is a mezzo soprano who read Music and English Literature at Cardiff University, before continuing her studies on the Royal Academy of Music Opera Programme.
Post college, she worked extensively as a soloist, performing with companies such as Scottish Opera, Opera Holland Park and Mid Wales Opera, whilst also developing an interest in taking live music out in to the wider community through the scheme Live Music Now! and the charity Kids Company. Broadcasts include In Tune on BBC Radio 3.
Other memorable projects include primary school workshops for Opera Holland Park and a particularly glamorous turn as Rita The Rat in their 2012 production of Fantastic Mr Fox! She has worked as vocal tutor for both the National Youth & Training Choir of Wales on several occasions.
As a mum, Kate attended and loved Tempo Tots Richmond with her daughter until they moved back to Penarth in May 2014 and is thrilled to now bring the classes to Wales.
Cardiff born bass-baritone, Niall Allen, joined Classic Brit Award winning choir, Only Men Aloud, in 2009 after completing a degree in European Politics and International Relations at Cardiff University.
As a member of OMA he has embarked on five UK tours and recorded two albums, as well as numerous TV and radio performances; most notably the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special and the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. He is also heavily involved with the running of their youth choirs, Only Kids Aloud and Only Boys Aloud, travelling to Russia and South Africa as a Team Captain.
Niall is also an accomplished soloist and this December saw him make his solo TV debut as a guest artist on BBC Wales' Really Welsh Christmas Show.
A keen sportsman, when not in the rehearsal room, Niall can usually be found on the golf course or watching Crystal Palace FC.
